Guided tours of the lead mine and period cottages, see how families lived and worked in Wanlockhead in the 18th and 19th centuries. Miners library with multi- media touch screen presentation, visitors centre with a superb display of rare minerals and mining equipment, including working models of mining machinery, many "hands on" exhibitions. There is also a Gold panning centre, where you can try your hand at panning, mabye take home a piece of Scottish gold.
