Dundrennan Abbey

Mary Queen of Scots spent her last night on Scottish soil in this Cistercian
abbey founded by David I. The Abbey, built in the second half of the 12th Century,
stands in a small secluded valley, it has a coach and car park, it is in Dundrennan,
6.5 miles South East of Kirkcudbright on the A711.

April to September:
9:30am-6:30pm Monday to Wednesday, Saturday.
9:30am-1:30pm Thursday.
2pm-6:30pm Sunday.
